April 22: This is a travel day for our team. Pray that we will make all our connections and that our luggage arrives with us. We will be traveling from Cleveland, to Washington DC, to Vienna and then on to Chisinau.
April 23: Today the team arrives in Chisinau. Esley and Paul will remain in Chisinau to spend time with Cristi, a church planter, and Dima, leader of the Moldovan Antioch Movement. The other 5 team members will be traveling to Tiraspol. Pray for safety and a good night’s rest.
April 24: As the team in Tiraspol confirms their plans for the week, ask that the Lord will orchestrate divine appointments. Pray also as Esley and Paul meet with Cristi and Dima that the Lord would reveal creative ways to work together.
April 25: Paul and Esley will join the team in Tiraspol. Pray for travel safety. This evening in Tiraspol, Carrie and Ellaine will be hosting a ladies’ evangelistic and fellowship tea. This is one of three tea outreaches this week; pray for open hearts.
April 26: The team will be visiting Parkani orphanage; pray that the Lord will give them continuing favor with the director. Ask the Lord for a special opportunity to share the love of Christ with the Children.
April 27: Nora and Lynda will be visiting foster families; pray for good communication and wisdom on how to advise them.
April 28: Carrie and Elaine will conduct a day long Bible Club training. Pray it will be effective, encouraging and empowering for the leaders.
April 29: OHC will be taking 43 students to Chisinau for an evangelistic outreach. Pray for open and soft hearts, as the gospel will be clearly proclaimed to them.
April 30: Joel has been assessing opportunities for benevolent projects. Pray for divine wisdom in project selection. Ask the Lord to begin raising co-labors to join Joel this summer.
May 1: Lynda and Nora will be traveling to the United States today. Pray that they will make all their connections and for their safety. Pray also for the team as they use the May Day holiday as an outreach.
May 2: Elaine has the opportunity to provide haircuts to foster children and transitional care students. She will also be teaching cosmetology. Pray for conversations to be steered towards Christ.
May 3: The team will host two English clubs with the focus on American culture. Pray that they would be informative, helpful and stir conversations about the gospel.
May 4: We want to connect summer Bible club children with local churches for follow-up. Pray for wisdom about a pilot after-school program that would provide tutoring, a hot meal and Bible activities
May 5: The team will be heading home today. Pray that the Lord will bring them home safely to their families. Ask God to give each person a renewed passion for Him and world missions.
